Jim lived a life centered on love, family, and service. From his years of military dedication to his 58 wonderful years of marriage, he embodied devotion and integrity in everything he did.
A Soldier’s Heart
Proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, including a tour in Vietnam, and graduated from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
Family First
His greatest joy was time with loved ones—from cheering at baseball games to supporting every passion his grandchildren pursued.
A Life Well-Lived
Beyond family, James pursued many passions: baking, cooking, fishing, listening to music, reading, and enjoying time outdoors. Whether tending to his yard or watching movies with those he loved, he found joy in life’s simple pleasures.
